CARE AND MAINTENANCE
All maintenance should only be carried out by a qualied service technician.
WARNING
• Before cleaning or performing any maintenance, remove the battery from the tool. Never
disassemble the tool, battery pack or charger. For safe and proper operation, always keep
the tool and its ventilation slots clean.
• To reduce the risk of personal injury and damage, never immerse your tool, battery pack or
charger in liquid or allow a liquid to ow inside them.
Cleaning
Always use only a soft, dry cloth to clean your fan; never use detergent or alcohol.
Nozzle Maintenance
WARNING
• Ensure all misting nozzle maintenance is properly performed to prevent leaks. Leaks
can result in a slippery surface creating a slip and fall hazard or cause property damage.
Irregular mist patterns or leakage may be the result of a clogged or dirty nozzle.
To clean nozzles:
a. Make sure turn off the fan and the pump.
b. Remove the battery pack.
c. Remove the brass misting nozzles (C) from
each side of the fan by rotating them in a
counterclockwise direction.
d. Disassemble the nozzles into parts.
e. Soak the metal parts in white vinegar or other
de-scaling agent for at least an hour.
f. Use a hard brush to clean any foreign
materials clogging or restricting the nozzle in
the front and rear holes of the nozzle while
ushing with water.
g. Flush the nozzle with water.
h. Reassemble the nozzle.
f. Reconnect the nozzles.
Filter Maintenance
Periodically check the lter (H) at the end of the
intake tube (G) to make sure that it is in good
condition. Remove the plastic lter cover and rinse
or replace the lter, then snap the cover back
together.
