Exposure Control
Make sure
the camera is set for automatic
exposure
c0ntr0l.
Make
sure
the exoosure index
knob is turned
to the
index number of the
film
in
the camera.
Select
the shutter speed
by turning the speed
con-
trol
ring.
For
snapshots,
use
80
(l/80
second).

Set
the
lens
mount for the correct
distance.
Sight through the viewfinder
and compose
the
pic-
ture.
Hold
the camera close
to
your
eye.
Hold
the camera steady;
then
press
the shutter
re-
lease lever all
the way down with a
slow, squeezing
aition.
lf the film has not been advanced
to the next
frame
and the wotd
Wl N D
appears
i n the viewfinder
or if the film
leader has not been wound
off fully.
you
cannot
press
the r'elease lever.
To
advance the film,
swing out
the rapid wind
lever
one full stroke
or several
short ones until
it locks;
then let the lever
return to its
original
position.
After the 20th or 36th exposure,
and
before open'
ing
the camera, the
film must
be rewound into
the
magazine.
