USING YOUR 72-IN-1 CARD READER/WRITER TO READ SIM CARD
*In order to use this card reader’s SIM Card function, you must first install the included software installation CD.
To do so, insert the installation CD into the CD-Rom drive of your computer. This should automatically begin
the installation of USIM Editor . If installation does not start automatically, click on the START menu in
WINDOWS. and select RUN. Type D:\S/MSetup.exe and click OK.
*Once USIM Editor is installed on your computer, you can proceed to connect your card reader to one of your
computer's USB ports by using the included USB extension cable. You can then insert a SIM Card into the
reader. Next, go to the START menu in WINDOWS, select PROGRAMS, then USIM Editor. This will open up
the USIM Editor program, and you can begin reading and editing your SIM Cards.
NOTE: USIM Editor is for Windows only. SIM card reading function is not available for Mac OS.
USING YOUR A271 72-IN-1 CARD READER/WRITER TO READ ALL OTHER MEMORY CARDS
*If you are using WINDOWS ME, 2000, XP, 7 or VISTA then data can be accessed and used just like a floppy
drive, thumb drive, or any other removable media drive. First, connect your 72-IN-1 card reader/writer to one
of your computer's USB ports by using the included USB connector cable. Next, insert a memory card in the
appropriate slot. In Windows PCs, you can double click on the MY COMPUTER icon, and a new drive letter
labeled REMOVABLE DISK will be accessible. By double clicking on this drive, you can access the content of
your memory card. If you are using a Mac OS, then an extra drive will mount on your desktop when the card
reader is connected to your computer and a memory card is inserted.
