The Kogan 1500W White Glass Portable Electric Panel Heater is designed to provide heating for indoor spaces. It can be used as a free-standing unit or wall-mounted. The heater offers various operating modes, including ECO mode, Comfort II power, and Frost-free mode, allowing users to control the heating output and energy consumption. Assembly:

The heater can be set up in two ways:

  1. Free Standing: Attach the two plastic feet to the bottom of the heater using a screwdriver and 4 provided screws per foot. Ensure the heater is placed on a flat, stable surface.
  2. Wall Mounting:
    • Remove wall brackets and expansion screws from the packaging.
    • Fix the screws to the wall according to the distances between the holes of the wall brackets.
    • Aim the 4 holes in the back of the heater to the 4 hooks on the wall bracket, push it on, and slide them into the slots to click.
    • Fix the wall bracket lock piece onto the bracket with screws, slide it into the locking slot on the back of the heater, and tighten the screw.
    • Minimum distances must be maintained from ceilings (60cm), ground (60cm), and sidewalls (30cm) to ensure proper airflow and avoid hazards. Wall mounting should be performed by a qualified person.

Operation:

  1. Connect the heater to a power socket and switch on the ON/OFF switch on the side panel.
  2. Use the operation buttons on the unit or the remote control to set heating parameters.
  3. Press the power button on the heater to enter Standby Mode and Frost-Free mode.
  4. Press the "POWER" button to set to ECO mode (displaying "Economic I") or alternately to Comfort II power or Frost-free mode.
    • Flashing icon indicates ECO mode.
    • Flashing icon indicates low power.
    • Flashing icon indicates high power.
    • Flashing icon indicates frost-free mode.
  5. Under heating status, a "wavy lines" icon will appear on the LCD screen. In Frost-free status, if the ambient temperature is higher than 5°C, the heating icon will disappear.

Setting Temperature:

  • Temperature can be set only in Comfortable or Economical mode. ECO and Frost-free modes have fixed set temperatures (18°C and 5°C respectively).
  • Press the "TEMP" button, then use the UP/DOWN buttons to set the temperature between 15°C to 50°C. The setting is memorized and confirmed after 10 seconds.
  • The set temperature must be higher than the ambient temperature for the unit to function.
  • Automatic mode switching:
    • If ambient temperature equals preset temperature, power switches from Comfortable to Economical mode.
    • If ambient temperature is 2°C higher than preset temperature, the heater stops heating.
    • If ambient temperature is 2°C lower than preset temperature, the heater switches to Comfortable mode again.

Timer Setting:

  • Press the "TIMER" button, then use UP/DOWN buttons to set the timer from 0-24 hours.
  • When the timer is active, a "clock" symbol will flash. The setting is memorized and confirmed after 10 seconds.
  • If the timer is set while the heater is running, it will switch the heater OFF after the set duration (e.g., setting to 01:00 will switch it off after one hour).
  • Timer functions can be achieved using both the remote control and the control panel.

Safety Warnings:

  • Ensure voltage matches rating plate.
  • Do not operate with damaged cable or plug.
  • Keep away from heat, sharp objects, and anything causing damage.
  • Damaged cord must be replaced by Kogan.com.
  • Switch off before connecting to mains.
  • Switch off and unplug when not in use, cleaning, or maintenance.
  • Do not pull the cord to disconnect.

  • Store in a cool, dry location after cooling down.
  • Do not use if the glass panel is damaged.

Warning - Keep Batteries Out of Reach of Children:

  • Swallowing button batteries can cause serious injury or death.
  • Call Poisons Information Centre immediately if ingestion is suspected.
  • Ensure battery compartment is secured; do not use if not secure.
  • Dispose of used button batteries safely.

Maintenance Features:

Cleaning & Care:

  1. Always disconnect and allow the heater to cool completely before maintenance.
