Seat Troubleshooting Guide (cont.)
Symptoms Probable Causes Recommended Action
1. The lights do not light up. A. The light feature is not turned
on.
A. Push the light button on the side of
the hinge until the blue light on the
button turns on.
B. Electrical power is not
available.
B1. Verify that the power cord (wall) is
plugged into the outlet.
B2. Verify that the seat power cord is
plugged into the toilet power cord.
C. The GFCI or RCD is tripped. C. Reset the GFCI or RCD.
D. There is an electrical problem
with the outlet.
D. Verify there is proper (120V) power
at the wall outlet.
2. The seat does not
automatically go up and
down.
A. The auto open/close feature is
not turned on.
A. Push the auto open/close button on
the side of the hinge until the blue
light on the button turns on.
B. Electrical power is not
available.
B1. Verify that the power cord (wall) is
plugged into the outlet.
B2. Verify that the seat power cord is
plugged into the toilet power cord.
C. The GFCI or RCD is tripped. C. Reset the GFCI or RCD.
D. There is an electrical problem
with the outlet.
D. Verify there is proper (120V) power
at the wall outlet.
3. The seat goes only
partially up or down.
A. The seat calibration is wrong. A. Toggle the auto open feature on/off
and then touch either lid button to
start the calibration sequence again.
4. The seat does not get
warm.
A. The seat heater is not turned
on.
A. Push the heated seat button on the
side of the hinge until the desired
color light on the button turns on.
No color = off, Yellow = low,
Orange = medium, Red = warmest.
B. Electrical power is not
available.
B1. Verify that the power cord (wall) is
plugged into the outlet.
B2. Verify that the seat power cord is
plugged into the toilet power cord.
C. The GFCI or RCD is tripped. C. Reset the GFCI or RCD.
D. There is an electrical problem
with the outlet.
D. Verify there is proper (120V) power
at the wall outlet.
5. The auto flush feature
does not work.
A. The auto flush feature is not
turned on.
A. Push the auto flush button on the
side of the hinge until the blue light
on the button turns on.
B. Electrical power is not
available.
B1. Verify that the power cord (wall) is
plugged into the outlet.
B2. Verify that the seat power cord is
plugged into the toilet power cord.
C. The GFCI or RCD is tripped. C. Reset the GFCI or RCD.
D. There is an electrical problem
with the outlet.
D. Verify there is proper (120V) power
at the wall outlet.
