  If the 'add water' light is on, even though the Koldfront Ice Maker is full, it could be due to insufficient impurities in the water. Try adding a pinch of salt to the water. Alternatively, the water uptake filter might be clogged. Clean the filter located at the bottom of the lower water reservoir by prying it out with a flathead screwdriver, and then replace it.
