1. Accessory parts
Note:
The Working Table WT-506 needs to be
mounted before to install this unit.
This manual provides the illustrations of the
accessory parts and machine that may be
slightly different in shape from yours. In that
case, instead of the illustrations, use the
appearance of your machine to follow the
installation procedure. This does not cause any
significant change or problem with the proce-
dure.
If none of the later steps instruct you to use the
parts including screw and cover that you
removed following the instructions described in
this manual, discard them.

Installation Procedures

Power Off and Unplug

Turn OFF the power switch and unplug the power cord from the power outlet.

Affix Finger Placement Seal

Affix the supplied finger placement seal at the location shown on the working table.

Remove Working Table Cap

Remove the cap from the working table in one place.

Fix Authentication Unit

Fix the authentication unit on the working table using hook-and-loop fasteners.

Connect USB Cable

Run the supplied USB cable through the hole and connect it to the authentication unit.

Open Machine Cover

Open the cover on the right side of the machine.

Remove Knockout

Remove the indicated knockout from the top of the cover using nippers.

Connect USB to Machine

Connect the USB cable to the specified port on the machine.

Attach Cord Clamp

Attach the supplied cord clamp to the main body at the specified position.

Route USB Cable

Route the USB cable as shown, pulling it to remove slack.

Run USB Cable Through Hole

Run the USB cable through the indicated hole on the cover.

Close Cover and Route Cable

Close the cover and route the USB cable through wire saddles, ensuring no interference.

Configuration Procedures

Install Loadable Device Driver

Install the AU-102 loadable driver to the main unit using USB memory.

Setting Bio Authentication

Configure bio authentication settings through the Service Mode screen.
