Why do I smell gas when using my Konifera 70415316 Grill?

  If you smell gas when using your Konifera Grill, first check for gas connection leaks, referring to “Checking the seals” on page GB-16. Close the gas cylinder valve and immediately replace any defective parts. Also, ensure the regulator is set to [OFF]. If the location is too windy, causing the flame to blow out, turn the control knob to [OFF], let the grill cool down, and choose a less windy location.

  If your Konifera Grill is burning, this may be due to grease residues not being sufficiently removed after each use (“After grilling” on page GB-21) or the grill is not being cleaned sufficiently (“Cleaning overview” on page GB-22). Another cause can be very greasy grilled food. To solve this, drain or pat the food dry, prepare food with a high fat content at low heat to avoid ignition and carefully remove excess dripping fat from fat drawer after cooking.
