Assembling Your VTX-7

Attach the Scoop

Gently run the straps of the scoop around the groove in the main body. Ensure tabs overlap when secured.

Attach the Silicon Seal

Slide the seal onto the groove at the bottom of the main assembly body so it rotates freely.

Attach the Sole

Fit the sole to the base of the main body, ensuring it is fitted all the way around.

Install the Steering Adjuster Float Bar

Fit the steering adjuster float bar into the top bridge of the dive float assembly.

Installing the VTX-7 in Your Pool

Prepare Your Pool

Ensure the pool is clean, balanced, algae-free, and the pump is turned off.

Fit the Vacuum Control Valve

Connect the Smart-Skim or Auto Skim valve to the vacuum plate using the correct adaptor.

Build the Ultra Flex Hose

Connect hose lengths to create a hose long enough for pool coverage plus extra.

Attach the 3 Hose Weights

Slide hose weights along the hose at specified distances to optimize VTX-7 performance.

Submerge the Hose

Submerge the assembled hose in the pool to expel all air by pushing downwards.
