Why is my Krups KH732D50 making toast too dark?

If the toast from your Krups Toaster is too dark or too light, adjust the browning setting. Select a lower setting if the toast is too dark, and a higher setting if it's too light. Also, make sure that the Defrost or Reheat buttons are not activated.
