Unused cord can be stored inside the coffee maker (h).
1- Open the top lid by pressing the open button (b) and fill the water tank with cold
water taking careful note of the number of cups. Use filtered water if possible.
The water level indicator displays the number of cups by turning from light to dark as
the water level rises.
2- Insert the carafe (f) securely in place (e). Be sure the carafe sits straight and level
on the heating plate before starting the brew cycle.
*NOTE: If you use the carafe to fill the tank with cold water rinse the carafe with hot
water before starting the brew cycle. This will help raise the temperature of the coffee
in the carafe.
