Tips for better cooking results
Increase or decrease the cooking temperature to adapt it to your taste and the type of food cooked
(quantity, thickness).
Before you start cooking, wait for the orange light signal to switch off: this will indicate that the grill
pan has reached the selected cooking temperature.
For best results and to minimize sticking, be sure to always cook on a clean grilling surface.
A brush and a scraper are included with the grill pan. Please wait for 2 hours until the pan cools
down and use the brush and scraper to remove all residues and move them towards the centre, so
they fall into the juice tray - Fig 5.
After use - cleaning
Place the thermostat in the mini position .
Unplug from the mains socket.
Leave the appliance to cool down.
Make sure that the grill pan has been unplugged for at least 2 hours and that it is cold before you
start to clean it. Do not pour water on the grill pan while it is hot.
Warning: cleaning brush included may melt if used on warm grill. The supplied scraper could melt if
it is used on a hot grill pan. - Fig 5.
The removable splatter shield - A and the juice collection tray - D are dishwasher safe.
After having pushed the residues through the opening for the juice collection tray with the brush or
scraper provided, the cooking grill and the body of the appliance should be cleaned with a sponge,
hot water and a little washing-up liquid - Fig 5.
Do not use oven cleaners or products containing chlorine or bleach.
Do not use an abrasive pad. Do not use metal scouring pads or scouring powder.
The base of the appliance and the cord is not dishwasher safe.

structions for use on the polish; then wipe over the outside of the grill/the plancha with a damp
sponge.
- do not use harsh detergents or scouring pads on the exterior of the grill/the plancha as this may
damage it.
