SPECIAL CORD INSTRUCTIONS
Regarding your Cord:
A. A short power-supply cord is provided to reduce risk of injury resulting from an
entangled cord or tripping over a longer cord.
B. Longer extension cords are available and may be used if care is exercised in
their use.
C. This machine has a polarized plug (one blade is wider than the other). To reduce
the risk of electric shock, this plug is intended to t into a polarized outlet only
one way. If the plug does not t fully into the outlet, reverse the plug. If it still
does not t, contact a qualied electrician. Do not attempt to modify the plug
in any way.
Do not attempt to defeat this safety feature.
CAUTION
This appliance is intended for household use only. Any servicing other, than
cleaning and user maintenance should be performed by an authorized service

To reduce the risk of re or electric shock, do not remove the base. There are no

on the inside circle of the heating plate.
Never remove carafe before brewing is completely nished. Wait until the coffee
has completely stopped dripping from the lter holder into the carafe.
Never clean with scouring powders or hard implements.
Never use a microwave oven to warm up beverage in either the espresso or the
coffee carafe.
