Harmful, contains glutardialdehyde, 2-hydroxyethyl-methacrylate
• It is a local irritant and has toxic effects. • Appropriate precautions should always be taken
before using GLUMA Desensitizer. • Only dispense the smallest possible amount necessary for
the treatment. • Harmful by inhalation. • Irritating to respiratory system. • Irritating to skin.
•Risk of serious damage to eyes. • May cause sensitization by inhalation. • May cause sensiti-
zation by skin contact. • In case of contact with eyes, rinse immediately with plenty of water
and seek medical advice. • Wear suitable gloves. • Before use, put on the protective goggles
and cover the patient’s eyes to protect against splashes of material. • Do not breathe vapour/
spray. • Avoid contact with skin.
GLUMA Desensitizer must not be used:
• if the necessary precautions cannot be taken or the specified application technique cannot be
used,
if the patient is allergic to any of the ingredients contained in GLUMA Desensitizer,
if the pain is due to pulpitis,
if the pulp is exposed or the dentine adjacent to the pulp is perforated.
Irritation of the pulp may be observed in the presence of deep cavities without suitable pulp protec-
tion. Those areas of cavities adjacent to the pulp should therefore be protected by a suitable cavity
lining.
