This section provides instructions for converting the combo machine from 6” to 5”.
Essential steps include powering off, locating, and checking the tool kit.
Remove machine covers using the flat head screwdriver provided.
Loosen four bolts to detach the 6” guillotine and set it aside.
Loosen marked bolts and slide the bead assembly to the 5” position.
Detach the back bell roller by removing the bolt securing its center shaft.
Remove the exit top roller, rotate it 180°, and re-mount it.
Loosen five bolts on the back guide bar and position it close to the skate.
Reinstall the back bell wheel into the position marked '5'.
Install the 5” guillotine using the original four bolts.
Adjust retractable rear skate forming rollers to the 5” position for each skate.
Loosen silver collars and slide entrance guide shoes to the 5” position.
Move face box roller assemblies to the 5” position using quick release pins.
Loosen bolts, reposition the lip box, and retighten the bolts.
Remove the 6” inside box roller bar assembly by unscrewing the two red screws.
Move outside roller bottom portions to the 5” position using quick release pins.
Install the 5” inside roller bar assembly and retighten the red screws.
Store the 6” roller bar assembly in the location of the 5” assembly.
Re-install the machine covers using the quarter turn screws.
Slide the base plate to the 5” position after loosening its bolts.
Replace the spool with the appropriate 5” coil material.
Confirmation of successful 6” to 5” combo machine conversion.
