Overview

Transmitter KT-19

Function Description

The KT-19 radio system is primarily designed for remote control of motorcycle models. By operating the transmitter, users can control the motor drive and servo movement of the motorcycle. The transmitter is powered by 6V/DC, while the receiver (within the motorcycle) is powered by a 3.7V Li-poly battery.

The product package includes:

  • Transmitter
  • Motor (receiver)
  • USB cable
  • Charger
  • User manual

Important Technical Specifications

Transmitter:

  • Operating Frequency: 2405.5MHz - 2475MHz
  • Quiescent Current: Approximately 17mA
  • Effective Remote Control Distance: 30 meters
  • Compliance: Conforms to CE and FCC requirements
  • Weight: 280g
  • Dimensions (Length x Width x Height): 162 x 71 x 295mm
  • Input Voltage: 4.8V-6VDC
  • Output Power: 4.8V-6VDC
  • Battery Type: 4 x AAA/1.5V dry batteries

Usage Features

Instruction of KT-19:

  1. Proximity: Keep the transmitter and the motorcycle model closer to each other.
  2. Transmitter Power On: Turn the steering wheel clockwise to its end, then press the "POWER" button. The transmitter's LED indicator will start flashing.
  3. Receiver Power On: Switch on the power of the receiver. The receiver's LED indicator will light up for 2 seconds, then start flashing. Simultaneously, the brushless motor will emit a "drip, drip, drip" sound.
  4. System Activation: Switch on the transmitter's power button once more. Both the transmitter and receiver LEDs will remain constantly lit. The brushless motor will beep 15 times, after which the motor of the gyro will begin to move.
  5. Operation: After approximately 5 seconds, the operating speed will stabilize. You can then adjust the steering direction and speed of the motorcycle by using the trim of the steering wheel, trigger, and gyro.

Battery Instructions:

  • Transmitter Battery: The transmitter is powered by 4 AAA/1.5V dry batteries. The input voltage is 4.8V-6VDC. When the transmitter is switched on, the green LED indicator will be constantly lit. If the battery voltage drops below 4.2V, the LED will flash, indicating that the batteries need to be replaced.
  • Receiver Battery: The motorcycle model uses a 3.7V Li-poly battery and a brushless motor system. The receiver has a low voltage alarm that triggers when the voltage is less than 3V.

3.7V Li-poly Battery Charging:

  • Charging Status: When the lithium battery is charging or not yet fully charged, the charger's LED indicator will be red.
  • Full/No Battery: When the LED indicator is green, it means the lithium battery is either fully charged or not connected.

Maintenance Features

Notes:

  • Manual Reading: This remote control model incorporates several high technologies and has a complex design and manufacturing process. Please read the "KT-19 User Manual" carefully before use to understand the operating techniques and safety rules.
  • Motor Safety: Do not touch the motor before it stops moving.
  • Pre-use Check: Before each use, double-check that the motorcycle model and remote control system are functioning correctly.
  • Obstacle Avoidance: When using the model, keep it away from obstacles. The motorcycle model is compact, and the receiver's antenna is close to the ground. If there are obstacles between the transmitter and the model, the remote control signal can easily be lost, leading to loss of control.
  • Heat Source Avoidance: The transmitter and the body of the motorcycle model are made of plastic. Avoid high temperatures to prevent plastic aging and deformation.
  • Humidity Avoidance: The transmitter and receiver contain many precise electronic components. Prevent moisture or water vapor from directly entering to avoid various circuit failures.
