If your CP-2500 displays 'GPS-INIT' indefinitely until a GPS position is acquired, and the ADS-B Out Fail lamp is Off for 2 minutes then flashes (1 second On/Off) indefinitely until a GPS position is acquired, it could be due to GPS-Acquiring (On Ground – no previous position fix). The GPS may need up to 4 minutes to provide a position after power is applied. Also, the GPS signal may be weak, so move the aircraft into an area where the unit can acquire the GPS signal, ensuring nothing is covering or blocking the GPS antenna.
