Operations to be carried out during maintenance work
When carrying out maintenance operations pay attention to all the signs
that could preceded a failure:
• traces of wear;
• loose fittings or connections;
• oxidised contacts;
Cutting down dead time after a failure
It is to be borne in mind that maintenance operations carried out correctly
can cut down the dead time to a minimum after a failure.
A repair made at the right time avoids further deterioration.
Wherever possible, use original spare parts and carry out the repair of the
components with precision in your plant or send the part for repair to its
manufacturer.
