5. USING THE MACHINE
5.1. Turning on
To turn on and make the machine operaonal proceed as follows:
• (Fig.6) - Press the ON/OFF buon; the light above the machine turns on; at this stage the machine is warming up.
• (Fig.10) - Promptly press the coee buon; with this procedure the water circuit is loaded. • Aer 30 seconds, press the
coee buon again to terminate the charging phase of the circuit.
• (Fig.6) - Wait unl the machine ready light turns o; at this point the machine is ready to dispense coee.
5.2. Coffee brewing
The machine only works with compable capsules. Do not use capsules dierent than those
recommended. Each capsule can be used for only a single coee; do not reuse spent capsules.
Cauon: the capsule inseron area is close to the boiler. DO NOT insert ngers inside the
compartment; Burn danger!
• (Fig.7) - Li the lever; maintain lever raised insert the capsule.
• Gently lower lever.
• (Fig.8) - Press down unl locked in place.
• (Fig.9) - Place cup over grid cup support; make sure it is posioned under the coee spout.
• (Fig.10) - Press the coee buon; coee begins to ow out.
• (Fig.11) - When the desired amount of coee is reached, press the coee buon again to nish dispensing.
• Remove the cup. Remember to extract the used capsule immediately aerwards, to avoid drying, creang tear and coee
spill problems in the brewing area.
6. CLEANING THE MACHINE
Machine cleaning must be performed only when the machine is cold and disconnected A! from the power mains.
