  If your LaCie Storage d2 is not being recognized by your computer, there are several things you can check: * Ensure the interface cable is properly connected at both ends (FireWire, eSATA, or USB). Disconnect, wait 10 seconds, and then reconnect. * If the drive is encrypted, run the LaCie Desktop Manager software. * Verify your computer meets the minimum system requirements for the d2 Quadra. * Confirm the power supply is properly connected, the drive is turned on via the On/Off/Auto button, and the outlet is active. * Check that the drive has been formatted correctly.
