What to do if my LaCie Storage drive is not recognized by the computer?

If your LaCie Storage drive isn't showing up, there should be an icon for it on your desktop. If it's not there, check the troubleshooting tips. Ensure the power supply is correctly connected, the drive is turned on using the On/Off/Auto button on the back, and the power outlet is working. Also, review the installation steps for connecting the power supply and interface cable. Check both ends of the eSATA or USB cables to ensure they are fully plugged into their ports. Try disconnecting and reconnecting the cables after 10 seconds. If it's still not recognized, restart your computer. For Mac, open Apple System Profiler and check the Devices and Volumes tab. If it's still not listed, recheck the cables.
