For cleaning the unit, you should take care to:

Always unplug the unit and let it cool down before washing it.
*
Do not put the base, the cord or the plug into water. Do not allow
water to enter the base of the kettle.
*
Clean the kettle and the base with a moist cloth. If the kettle is
very dirty, add a small amount of soap.
*
Do not use scouring pads, steel wool or any form of powerful
solvents or abrasive cleaning products to clean the unit, because they
can damage the exterior surfaces of the unit.
*
Remove the scale lter by pulling it up and clean it using a brush.
Put it back in place once it has been cleaned.
*
IMPORTANT! Let the unit dry completely after cleaning before
using it again. The unit should not be used if the base or the
underside of the kettle is wet.
*
Make sure that the unit is dry and clean before storing it.
SCALE REMOVAL
The presence of scale increases progressively with use.
Once a month, ll you kettle with white vinegar diluted with water
(1/3, 2/3) and leave it cold to react for 2 hours or more.
Rinse several times with tap water.
You can also use scale remover for coffee makers, following the
manufacturer’s instructions.
