  If your Laing Thermotech Plumbing Product pump isn't turning on, there might be a few reasons: * The timer slide switch could be in the “OFF” position, or the timer clock isn't programmed correctly. In that case, set the slide switch to the “ON” position or program the timer clock. * The water at the valve might already be at the set temperature. The pump will turn on when the water at the valve cools. Verify the temperature setting on the pump. * The outlet may not have power. Check that there is power at the outlet and that the outlet isn't controlled by a wall switch. * The GFCI might be tripped. Verify the “TEST” and “RESET” of the GFCI outlet.

  If your Laing Thermotech Plumbing Product pump is making noise, consider these possibilities: * There may be air in the system. Turn off the ecocirc pump and turn on the hot and cold faucets/taps until all air is purged from the system. * There could be foreign matter in the rotor cavity. Unplug the pump, shut off the water supply, open faucets/taps to drain water, and loosen the screw ring to check for foreign matter. * The rotor might not be seated properly. Ensure the rotor is properly set on the motor bearing by pushing down on the rotor. * Water hammer could be resulting from the closure of the built-in check valve. Install water hammer arresters on the hot and cold lines.
