Never dismantle the base unit.
If there is water leaking from the appliance or if there is an unusual smell during use, switch the appliance off
immediately and return it to the supplier or after-sales department.
NEVER add any substance other than distilled or demineralised water to the tank, at a temperature of below 40°.
Never switch on the humidifier when there is no water in the tank.
Do not shake the appliance. This may cause the water to overflow into the base unit and prevent it from working
correctly.
Never touch the water or the immersed components when the unit is switched on.
To prevent damage to components, do not splash the inside of the base unit.
Never scratch the transducer.
In temperatures of below freezing (below 0°C), remove the water from the tank and the base to prevent the risk of
freezing.
Do not use the humidifier if the air in the room is already humid enough (at least 50% relative humidity). Excessive
humidity is signalled by condensation on cold surfaces or cold walls in the room. To determine the humidity of the room
correctly, use a hygrometer, available from most hardware and department stores.
It is advisable to use the appliance at a temperature of between 5 and 40°C and in a relative humidity of below 50%.
