To locate TV cables
Connect the TV-coax adapter (6) to a TV socket.
Then use the receiver to search for the line, with the test mode
button (14) held down.
To avoid interference, disconnect the building
telephone service.

Then use the receiver to search for the line, with the test mode

a negative effect on measurements. In this case,
remove the TV socket and perform the measurement
directly at the cable.
