Before Launching
* Check that the stern plug
and bailer plug are securely
in place.
* Make sure that the auto-
matic bailer is in the closed
position (the plug located
in the cockpit should be
tightly in the hole).
* Wear your life jacket.
* Make sure that you are
wearing the appropriate
clothing for the sailing
conditions.
* Be sure to check the
weather report before going
sailing.
* Stay hydrated and bring
plenty of water.
* Wear plenty of sunscreen.
