      John MacdonaldAug 20, 2025
If the display of your LATICRETE STRATA_HEAT Wi-Fi Thermostat is blank, it might be due to a power issue. An electrician is required to verify that power is reaching the thermostat and that it's wired correctly.

What to do if my LATICRETE Thermostat shows a heater error?
    • J
      Joseph ButlerAug 22, 2025
If your LATICRETE Thermostat is displaying a heater error, the GFCI may have tripped due to a fault in the heater. An electrician is required to verify the heater wiring. If the wiring is correct, conduct a resistance test and insulation resistance test on the heater to check for damage.

    • A
      Angela JacksonAug 25, 2025
Adaptive learning (Early start) uses historical heating/cooling rates, along with past and forecast external temperatures, to calculate the heating start time needed to reach the desired temperature at the beginning of the comfort period. This only functions in Program Mode on your LATICRETE Thermostat.

What to do if my LATICRETE Thermostat shows a Control/Internal Air sensor error?
    • A
      Amber AlexanderAug 26, 2025
If your LATICRETE Thermostat displays a Control (5 & 6) / Internal Air sensor error, first check Table 1.0 to ensure you've selected the correct thermostat application. An electrician is required to verify the floor sensor wiring. If correctly wired, the electrician should check the floor sensor's resistance with a multimeter. The resistance should be between 8K ohms and 12K ohms for temperatures between 68°F – 86°F (20°C – 30°C). If a fault is found and the thermostat is in the room to be heated, set it to “Air Mode” (see Table 1.0). If “- - -” persists in air mode, the thermostat must be replaced.

    • D
      Denise RomeroSep 1, 2025
The GFCI feature on your LATICRETE Thermostat detects current leakage from the heating system and cuts off the load lines during a ground fault. To test it, increase the set temperature until the heating is on (the heat up icon will illuminate) and press the “TEST” button. If successful, the GFCI error icon will appear, and you'll need to hold “X” for 3 seconds to restore heating operation.
