BEFORE ASSEMBLING, STARTING, OR SERVICING THE HEATER. Be sure to comply with the
instructions and warnings provided with this heater. Failure to comply can result in fire or explosion
that can cause property loss, bodily injury, or loss of life. Only persons who can follow and
understand these instructions should operate or service this heater.

NOT FOR USE IN RESIDENTIAL LIVING AREAS OR IN ENCLOSED SPACES
WITHOUT ADEQUATE VENTILATION. TO BE USED IN WELL VENTILATED
COMMERCIAL / INDUSTRIAL OCCUPANCIES. This is an unvented portable heater that uses
air (Oxygen) from within the area in which it is used. Failure to provide adequate combustion and
ventilation air will result in asphyxiation, carbon monoxide poisoning, bodily injury or death. Refer to
“Ventilation” on Page 7.

This appliance shall be installed in accordance with the rules in force,
and used only in sufficiently ventilated space. Consult instructions before
installation and use of this appliance.

    What to do if Lavor PT70-SS Plus Heater does not turn on?

      If the Lavor Heater doesn't turn on and the lamp isn't lit, first, allow the heater to cool for 5 minutes by pushing the Operating Switch to “OFF”, then push it back to “ON”, because the temperature limit sensor may have overheated. Also, check the power cord and extension cord to ensure they are properly connected and test the power supply, as there may be no electrical power. Finally, check or replace the fuse, as it may have broken down. Inspect all electrical connections between the Temperature Limit Sensor and Circuit Board.

      If your Lavor Heater fires but shuts down quickly and the LED display shows “E1”, try the following: Clean or replace the fuel filter, nozzle, and photocell. Adjust the photocell position or replace it if defective. Check wiring connections between the circuit board and photocell. Also, ensure the cooling fan is not obstructed.

      If the Lavor Heater will not operate, or the motor runs briefly and the LED display shows “E1”, refill the fuel tank with fresh kerosene/diesel. Clean or replace the spark plug, fuel filter, and nozzle. Rinse the fuel tank to remove any moisture. Inspect all electrical connections between the transformer and circuit board. Re-attach transformer wires to the spark plug and replace the transformer if defective.

      If your Lavor Heater produces poor combustion and/or soot, ensure the pump pressure is adjusted correctly and that the kerosene/diesel is fresh and not contaminated.

    Why does my Lavor PT70-SS Plus make a grinding noise?

      The grinding noise in your Lavor Heater will stop after 3 seconds if it's due to air in the fuel pump. If the grinding sound continues, add fuel to the tank.
