This document is an operating manual for the La-Z-Boy Power Bundle Console, an integrated electrical console designed for use with upholstered furniture. The console provides convenient access to electrical outlets and USB charging ports, along with storage and lighted cup holders.

Function Description:

The La-Z-Boy Power Bundle Console is an accessory designed to enhance the functionality of modular upholstered furniture units. It integrates power and charging capabilities directly into the furniture, allowing users to power small office devices and charge USB-compatible devices. The console also features storage compartments and lighted cup holders for added convenience. It is intended for indoor residential use only.

USB Output: 2.1 AMP Max., 5 VDC
AC Output: 125 VAC, 60 Hz, 12 AMP Max.
Surge Suppression: Built-in 720 Joules Surge Suppression (Note: Surge suppression is not available on USB charging ports.)
Grounding: The unit is equipped with a 3-prong, grounding plug and must be connected to a properly grounded 110-volt outlet. A green light indicates proper grounding, and a red light indicates functional internal surge suppression. Both lights must be illuminated for the electrical outlets and USB charging ports to operate.

Usage Features:

Electrical Outlets: Two electrical outlets are provided for powering small office devices.
USB Charging Ports: Two USB charging ports are available for charging USB-compatible devices. These ports are for charging only and do not have data transfer capabilities.
Storage Compartment: A black molded storage compartment is accessible by lifting a padded flip top.
Lighted Cup Holders: One or two lighted cup holders are integrated into the console. The cup holder light is operated by lightly touching an indented circle on the inside of the cup holder. No pressure is necessary.
Drawer: The storage console also includes a drawer.
Modular Connection: The console is designed to connect with other modular furniture units using a bracket system. This system includes a rear lateral mounting support, a front "U" lateral mounting support, and two threaded studs. The threaded studs can be adjusted to ensure proper fit and control gaps between units. The bracket system's purpose is to connect units and prevent separation on the floor, but it does not provide structural support for moving connected units.

Maintenance Features:

Cleaning:
- For the LED lighted cup holders, use water and mild soap (e.g., dish soap) to clean. Dry immediately and thoroughly with a soft, clean cloth to maintain the finish. Harsh, abrasive cleaners are not recommended.
- It is recommended to use a coaster with the cup holders to reduce the chance of damage to the finish.
Troubleshooting:
- The console has no user maintenance or repair requirements.
- If indicator lights are not illuminated or outlets/USB ports are not working, check:
  1. If the console is plugged into a grounded electrical outlet.
  2. If the electrical outlet is working (e.g., no blown fuses or tripped circuit breakers).
  3. If the electrical cord is not crimped, pinched, or damaged.
- If issues persist, contact your La-Z-Boy® dealer for service. Do not attempt to disassemble or service the product yourself, as there are no serviceable parts inside.
Safety Checks:
- Monthly inspection of the electrical cord and plug is recommended. Keep the cord away from heat sources.
- Do not operate the unit with a damaged electrical cord or plug.
- Disconnect the electrical plug from the outlet before cleaning, moving, servicing, or when not in use for an extended period.
- Unplug the power cord immediately if strange odors or fumes are detected.
- Unplug devices from the unit if a power failure occurs; devices can be plugged back in after power is restored.
- Do not move connected units while they are still connected via the bracket system.
- Take care to prevent spilling beverages in cup holders, which could damage the cover.
