When unlocking and removing your battery pack from the
frame, take care that it does not fall to impact the ground. If
your battery impacts the ground and is damaged, discontinue
use and contact Lectric eBikes immediately.
How the two battery system works
Your eBike is equipped with a battery isolator that will automatically
switch between two batteries when two are attached. The switching
device will switch to whichever battery has the higher voltage, within
a certain tolerance (1-2%). For example, if you have the primary
battery on the bike at 75% charge, and you load the auxiliary battery
at 100% charge, the bike will use ~25% charge from the auxiliary
battery until both batteries are at around 75% charge. Then it will start
switching back and forth between both batteries draining them at
approximately the same rate.
To install the auxiliary battery:
1. Move the battery pack so
that it is almost aligned
with the mount top to
bottom.
2. Slide the battery onto the
mount.
3. The battery has been
successfully mounted
when you hear it lock into
position.
4. The keys do not have to
be in the lock cylinder in
order for the battery to be
operational.
