This document is a user guide for the LeEco Home Theatre system, model LHT-V16S, providing instructions for installation, operation, and specifications.
The LeEco Home Theatre system is designed to enhance your audio experience, particularly when connected to a television. It consists of a soundbar and a wireless subwoofer, working together to deliver virtual surround sound.
Product Layout and Components:
The system includes the following components:
- Soundbar (6): The main speaker unit.
- Wireless Subwoofer (2): Provides bass frequencies wirelessly.
- Remote Control (1): For controlling the system, includes a button battery.
- User Guide: This manual.
- Wall Mount Kit (3): For mounting the soundbar on a wall.
- Power Cord (4): To supply power to the soundbar.
- HDMI Cable (5): For connecting the soundbar to a TV via HDMI (ARC).
Wall Mount Installation:
The user guide provides detailed steps for wall mounting the soundbar:
- Drill holes and secure expansion plugs: Use ST6*60 hexagonal self-tapping screws (4), expansion plugs (4), and Φ6 washers (4). A magnetic level gauge (5) is included to ensure proper alignment.
- Install brackets onto the speaker: Use M4*10mm screws (4) to attach the speaker brackets (2 per package) to the soundbar.
- Mount brackets onto the wall panel: Secure the wall-mounting panel (1 per package) to the wall, then attach the soundbar with its brackets to this panel.
- Important Safety Notes for Installation:
- Read and understand all steps. Contact a professional installer if unsure.
- The wall must support the weight of the brackets and speaker. Reinforce the wall structure if necessary.
- Wear protective clothing and use correct tools.
- Installation should be conducted by at least two persons.
- A 10-15 cm gap between the wall-mounted speaker and the screen is recommended.
Product Overview (Front and Rear Views):
Soundbar:
- Front View: Features control buttons (Power, Source, Bluetooth, Volume +/-, Treble +/-, Subwoofer +/-, Play/Pause, Next, Previous) and indicator printing for various input modes (BT, ECO, USB, OPT, AUX, HDMI(ARC)).
- Rear View: Includes ports for AC IN, S/PDIF IN, USB, HDMI (ARC), and AUX.
Subwoofer:
- Front View: Features an indicator light.
- Rear View: Includes a Link button, Power button, and Power jack.
Common Operations:
Initial Settings:
- The system powers on automatically when connected to power.
- The speaker and subwoofer are pre-paired from the factory.
- Connect the speaker to your TV via HDMI (ARC) for optimal audio.
System Operations:
- Surround Sound Mode: Press the "Le" button on the remote during playback to toggle surround sound effects.
- Adjust Volume:
- Use Volume +/- buttons on the remote.
- Press and hold the "Le" button for 2 seconds to mute; press again or Volume +/- to unmute.
- The indicator corresponding to the signal source blinks when adjusting volume and stops blinking at maximum/minimum.
- Play Audio via Bluetooth:
- Press the Bluetooth button on the speaker or remote. The Bluetooth indicator blinks white during pairing.
- Enable Bluetooth on your external device (e.g., phone) and select "LHT-V16S".
- The BT indicator glows white when connected.
- Auto Standby Mode: The system enters standby if idle for 30 minutes without a signal.
- Pair the Subwoofer (Manual Pairing):
- If the subwoofer makes no sound, press the Link button on its back for 3 seconds until its front indicator blinks white.
- On the soundbar, press and hold both the Bluetooth button and the Source button for at least 2 seconds until all 6 indicators blink one by one.
- Successful pairing is indicated by all 6 indicators glowing for 3 seconds. If pairing fails, they blink 3 times, and the process needs to be repeated.

The remote control features dedicated buttons for:

- Disconnect Device: The mains plug/appliance coupler/direct plug-in adapter serves as the disconnect device and must remain readily operable.
- Battery Warning: Do not expose batteries to excessive heat (sunshine, fire, etc.).
- Installation Environment: Refer to the exterior bottom enclosure for electrical and safety information. Do not install in confined spaces; ensure good ventilation. Do not impede ventilation openings.
- Injury Prevention: Securely attach the apparatus to the floor/wall according to installation instructions.
- Electric Shock Caution: Do not remove the cover (or back). No user-serviceable parts inside. Refer servicing to qualified service personnel. The lightning flash symbol indicates dangerous voltage. The exclamation point indicates important operating/maintenance instructions.
- Polarized Plug Caution: To prevent electric shock, do not use a polarized plug with an extension cord, receptacle, or outlet unless blades can be fully inserted to prevent blade exposure.
- Servicing Caution: Servicing instructions are for qualified personnel only. Do not perform servicing other than operating instructions unless qualified.
Warranty:
- One-Year Limited Warranty Summary: LeEco warrants hardware and accessories against defects in materials and workmanship for one year from the original retail purchase.
- Exclusions: Does not cover normal wear and tear, or damage caused by accident or abuse.
