Why Leguan 135 NEO Lifting Systems motor won't start when pushing the START button?
    • A
      Alejandra EnglishJul 27, 2025
The Leguan Lifting Systems motor might not start due to several reasons: the main power switch is off, the emergency stop switch is engaged, the motor is too cold, the fuel faucet is closed, the fuel tank is empty, the start battery is empty, or the combustion engine fuse has blown. Try turning the switch on, releasing the emergency stop switch, using the choke, opening the fuel faucet (if petrol engine), refilling the fuel, charging the battery, or replacing the fuse. Another cause may be a connection flaw in the wiring or a faulty START switch. Check the voltages, wires, and connections with a meter, and replace the switch if necessary.

What to do if the Leguan 135 NEO Lifting Systems electric motor stops suddenly?
    • T
      Tamara Barr DDSJul 31, 2025
If the Leguan Lifting Systems electric motor stops suddenly, it could be due to a power failure, accidental activation of the emergency stop button, the electric motor thermal overload relay (F1) tripping, or a connection fault in the mains or 12V wiring. Lower the booms using the emergency lowering. Ensure there is power in the mains and release all emergency stop buttons. Wait approximately 2 minutes and restart the motor, the relay should return to the ‘ON’ position automatically. Also, check the voltage and wiring.

Why Leguan 135 NEO movements do not work even when the motor is running?
    • K
      Kristin DaltonAug 5, 2025
If the movements on your Leguan Lifting Systems aren't working even though the motor is running, it could be due to a failure in the hydraulic system, such as a broken hydraulic pump, or overload on the platform. Check the hydraulic pressure. If there's no pressure, inspect the hydraulic pump safety valve's functionality. Also, remove any excess load from the platform.

What to do if the Leguan 135 NEO Lifting Systems boom comes down on its own?
    • S
      Steven ChandlerAug 9, 2025
If the Leguan Lifting Systems boom descends on its own, the issue might be due to dirt in the load control valve or a defective valve, dirt in the emergency lowering valve or a defective valve, the emergency lowering valve not reacting to the control button, or faulty lift cylinder seals. Try cleaning the valve with compressed air, and if that doesn't help, replace it. Inspect the emergency lowering fuse and check if the emergency lowering valve has come loose. Replace the cylinder seals if necessary.

How to fix Leguan 135 NEO outrigger that gives way?
    • L
      Lauren BrayAug 13, 2025
If a Leguan Lifting Systems outrigger gives way, ensure that the ground is stable. Other potential causes include air in the outrigger cylinder(s), dirt in the cylinders lock valve, a faulty lock valve, or faulty outrigger cylinder seals. Try these steps: 1. Place extra support plates under the outriggers or relocate the machine. 2. Drive the outriggers fully up and down several times. 3. Clean the valve with compressed air; if ineffective, replace the valve. 4. Replace the cylinder seals.

Why Leguan Lifting Systems motor stops when lifting booms from transport support?
    • I
      Isaac GarciaAug 17, 2025
The Leguan Lifting Systems motor may stop when lifting the booms from the transport support if the outriggers are not correctly positioned in the support position, indicated by the green indicator lamp not being lit. Lower the booms down to the transport supports using emergency lowering, then restart the motor and properly deploy the outriggers.

What causes Leguan 135 NEO Lifting Systems platform to tilt backwards on transport supports?
    • A
      andrew08Aug 21, 2025
The Leguan Lifting Systems platform tilting backward by itself when the booms are down on the transport supports could be due to air in the hydraulic system, dirt in the load control valve, a defective valve, or faulty cylinder seals. Try starting the engine and driving the platform to its extreme end positions. If this doesn’t resolve the issue, bleed the air from the platform self-levelling system using the couplings provided on the self-levelling cylinders. Additionally, clean the valve with compressed air; if that doesn't help, replace the valve. Finally, consider replacing the cylinder seals.
