Step 10. Position the new memory module over the memory slot. Ensure that the notch 2 on the memory
module aligns correctly with the slot key
1 in the memory slot. Press the memory module down
until snaps into position.
Step 11. To replace a UDIMM memory module, refer to the following instructions:
Step 12. Remove the memory module being replaced by opening the retaining clips as shown.
Step 13. Position the new memory module over the memory connector. Make sure the notch 1 on the
memory module is correctly aligned with the connector key
2 on the system board. Push the
memory module straight down into the connector until the retaining clips close.
