Thissectionprovidesinstructionsonhowtoinstallorreplaceamemorymodule.
YourcomputerhasfourslotsforinstallingorreplacingDDR3UDIMMsthatprovideuptoamaximumof16
GBsystemmemory.Wheninstallingorreplacingamemorymodule,usethefollowingguidelines:
•Use1GB,2GB,or4GBDDR3UDIMMsinanycombinationuptoamaximumof16GB.
•Thefollowingtableprovidesinformationaboutthememorymoduleinstallationrulesthatyoushould
considerwheninstallingorremovingamemorymodule.The“X”markindicatesthememoryslot(s)
intowhichthememorymodule(s)shouldbeinstalledindifferentsituations.Thenumbers1,2,3,and
