Remove the touchpad
Make sure the following FRUs (or CRUs) have been removed.
“Remove the lower case (for 14–inch models)” on page 26
“Remove the lower case (for 16–inch models)” on page 27
“Remove the battery pack” on page 27
Step 1. Peel back the keyboard cable and disconnect the touchpad cable from the touchpad.
