Overview

The LEQISMART S11 Electric Scooter is an intuitive, technologically advanced personal transportation device designed for short-distance travel. It emphasizes safety, ease of use, and portability, making it suitable for various users.

The scooter's primary function is to provide an efficient and enjoyable mode of personal transport. It features a robust design with a handle, LED light, long pole, back fender, deck, kickstand, and a charging port. The control interface includes a brake handle, accelerate throttle, and an LCD display for monitoring various parameters.

Usage Features:

The S11 scooter is designed for straightforward operation. To begin, users must turn on the scooter by pressing the power key for 2 seconds and checking the battery level on the LCD display. For a safer start, it is recommended to place one foot on the deck, give a kick with the other foot to reach approximately 5 km/h, and then push the accelerator. This method provides better control and stability compared to starting with both feet on the deck. To stop, users should release the throttle and press the brake handle, avoiding sudden stops, especially during initial use. The scooter automatically shuts down if left idle for five minutes to conserve power.

The LCD display provides crucial information during operation. The power key, when pressed for 2 seconds, turns the scooter ON or OFF. Double-pressing the power button while the scooter is on will toggle the front light. The mode key allows users to switch between three speed modes: low (10 km/h), middle (20 km/h), and high (25 km/h), indicated by white, yellow, and red icons, respectively. The display also shows battery power levels in increments of 25% (0-25%, 25-50%, 50-75%, 75-100%). A dedicated light status icon indicates whether the front light is on or off.

Assembly of the S11 is quick, typically taking less than 2 minutes. Users need to install the left and right handles, ensuring correct placement, and then tighten them. The scooter also features a convenient folding mechanism for portability and storage. To fold, the user lifts the buckle lock with their right index finger, pushes the folding wrench outward with their thumb, and then presses the upright pole down until the folding hook is secured into the hook hole on the back fender. Unfolding involves pressing down the back fender with the right hand, pulling up the long pole with the left hand until the folding hook disengages, and then pulling the folding wrench towards the upright pole to secure it.

Safety is paramount, and the manual outlines extensive precautions. Users are advised to wear appropriate safety gear, including a helmet and protective kits, at all times, especially during the learning phase. Comfortable clothes and flat, closed-toe shoes are recommended. The scooter is designed for use on flat, even paved roads and should not be operated off-road, on rough terrain, or in inclement weather. Sharp turns, especially at high speeds, should be avoided. Users should not attempt stunts, jump on or off the scooter, or operate it under the influence of drugs or alcohol. It is intended for single-person use and should not carry multiple individuals or heavy objects. Awareness of surroundings, including road conditions, people, and objects, is crucial. The scooter should not be operated in crowded areas or near flammable substances.

Maintenance Features:

Routine inspection and maintenance are essential for the longevity and performance of the S11 scooter. Before any maintenance, ensure the power is off and the charging cable is disconnected.

Cleaning the scooter involves disconnecting the charger and turning it off. Users should routinely check the body and tires for damage or excessive wear. For cleaning, a clean cloth dampened with soapy water, thoroughly rinsed, should be used to wipe the scooter's body. Care must be taken to prevent water from entering the power button, charging port, foot mats, or tires. Avoid using excessive water or other liquids directly on the scooter.

Battery care is critical. The scooter should be fully charged before storage. For extended storage periods, it is recommended to fully charge the battery at least once every three months. Charging should only occur in environments where the ambient temperature is above 0°C; if colder, the scooter should be moved to a warmer environment before charging.

Charging the scooter is a simple four-step process. First, ensure the charging port is clean and dry. Next, plug the charger into a power socket (100V~240V; 50/60Hz) and connect the cable, verifying that the charger's light is green. Then, insert the male DC connector plug into the scooter's charging port. The charger's indicator light will turn red, signifying that charging is in progress. Once fully charged, typically within 4 hours, the light will turn green. Finally, unplug the charger from both the scooter and the power outlet. If the charger light does not turn red when plugged into the scooter, it may indicate a loose connection or a fully charged battery. Users can check the battery status on the display by holding the power button near the charging port. Optimal charging temperatures are between 0°C and 40°C. It is crucial to use only the provided charger and to unplug it before operating the scooter.

To protect the scooter from dust during storage, wrapping it or sealing it in its original packaging is advised. The scooter should be stored indoors in a dry environment at a suitable temperature. Keeping the original packaging for at least 15 days after purchase is recommended for potential after-sales service.

The manufacturer provides a warranty for various components, with different durations. Main parts like the frame, motor, controller, and front fork assembly are covered for 12 months. Attachments such as the battery, charger, brake handle, and rear wheel are covered for 6 months. Wearing parts like covers, lights, fenders, and rubber plugs have a 3-month warranty. The warranty is voided if the scooter is disassembled by unauthorized users, if damage is caused by human factors (e.g., liquid injection, puncture, impact), unauthorized maintenance, misuse, or commercial use.
