Installation Guidelines
For smooth installation, please prepare the following items:
l Connecting cables, such as network cable, etc.
l Related devices, such as electrical outlets, HUB, switch, router, etc.
The installation environment for the switch must meet the following requirements:
l The switch must avoid direct sunlight, away from heat and sources of strong electromagnetic
interference.
l The switch must be placed in a cool, dry place, and there should be enough gap for heat
dissipation all around for the purpose of ventilation and heat dissipation.
l The switch must work in the indoor environment with a temperature of 5°C~50°C and
humidityof 20%~80% without condensation.
Connecting Equipment:
Step1. Inspect the Power Adapter carefully, and make sure that it is properly connected to a power
source.
Step2. Plug-in the Power Adapter to the Switch.
Step3. Connect your network devices with the switch by using Ethernet cable. (e.g. Cat-5e)
