Do you have a question about the Levenhuk Wezzer Teo TH40 and is the answer not in the manual?

Overview

The Levenhuk Wezzer Teo TH40 is a thermohygrometer designed to provide accurate temperature and humidity readings both indoors and outdoors, along with a weather forecast. It consists of a base station and a wireless remote sensor.

Function Description

The base station displays the current indoor temperature and humidity, as well as the outdoor temperature and humidity received from the remote sensor. It also features a weather forecast, time display, calendar, and week display. The device can track temperature and humidity trends over 12 hours. An alarm function with a snooze option is included. The display has a backlight with two adjustable levels. The remote sensor measures outdoor temperature and humidity and transmits the data wirelessly to the base station. The base station can connect to up to three remote sensors, each operating on a different channel.

Usage Features

Getting Started:

  • Base Station: Power the base station by connecting the USB cable to a DC adapter (not included) and an AC power supply, or by inserting 3 AA batteries into the battery compartment (18). After power-up, the base station will search for outdoor units for 5 minutes. To manually set reception or switch channels (1, 2, or 3), press the CH button.
  • Sensor: Open the battery compartment (2) and insert 2 AAA batteries. Set the desired channel (1, 2, or 3) using the switch (4). If only one remote sensor is used, it should be set to channel 1. To manually re-establish the sensor connection, press the RESET button with a pin.

Sensor Connection:

  • Place the base station and remote sensor within effective transmission range. Ensure channels are assigned correctly.
  • Successful reception will display temperature and humidity; "—" indicates no signal. Check batteries and interference sources if no signal.
  • When changing batteries, replace them in the base unit first, then in all sensors, to re-establish connection. If using an adapter, briefly disconnect power during battery replacement.
  • The effective range may vary due to unit position and interference from other devices. Moving the units slightly can improve signal reception.
  • The sensor is weather-resistant but should not be placed in direct sunlight, rain, or snow.

Time Setting:

  • Press and hold the MODE button for 3 seconds. The digits will flash. Use UP or DOWN to change values, and MODE to confirm.
  • Setting order: 12/24h > Hours > Minutes > Year > Date/Month or Month/Date format > Month > Date > Weekday (7 languages). Press MODE to save and exit.

Alarm Setting:

  • Press and hold the ALARM button for 3 seconds. Digits will flash. Use UP or DOWN to change values, and MODE to confirm.
  • Setting order: Hours > Minutes.
  • Press ALARM to toggle the alarm on/off.

Snooze Function:

  • When the alarm sounds, press SNZ/LIGHT to activate snooze. The alarm will sound again in 5 minutes.

Backlight Setting:

  • Press SNZ/LIGHT to choose between 2 brightness levels.
  • Note: If using batteries, the backlight will stay on for approximately 8 seconds.

Weather Display:

  • Temperature: Press UP to switch between °C and °F.
  • Weather Forecast: Displays icons for Sunny, Partly Cloudy, Cloudy, and Rainy.
  • Trend Arrows: Indicators show rising, stable, or falling trends for temperature and humidity over the next 12 hours.

Historical Record:

  • Press DOWN to view maximum/minimum temperature and humidity.
  • Hold DOWN for 3 seconds to clear recorded MIN./MAX. data.

Low Battery Indicator:

  • If the low battery indicator appears, replace batteries immediately.
