      If your Levoit Air Cleaner won't turn on or respond to button controls, first, ensure it's properly plugged in. Then, inspect the power cord for any damage; if damaged, discontinue use and contact Customer Support. Try plugging the air purifier into a different outlet. If the issue persists, the air purifier may be malfunctioning, and you should contact Customer Support.

      If your Levoit Air Cleaner's air quality indicator is always red, you may need to clean the AirSight Plus Laser Dust Sensor. Also, if you’re using an ultrasonic humidifier near the air purifier, the mist may affect the accuracy of the AirSight Plus Laser Dust Sensor. Avoid using an ultrasonic humidifier near the air purifier, or avoid using Auto Mode.

      If your Levoit Air Cleaner is making unusual noises, first ensure that the filter is correctly placed and that all plastic packaging has been removed. Make sure the air purifier is operating on a hard, flat, level surface. If problems persist, replace the filter. If the air purifier may be damaged, or a foreign object may be inside, stop using the air purifier and contact Customer Support. Do not try to repair the air purifier.

      To address poor air purification quality in your Levoit Air Cleaner, first, increase the fan speed. Ensure that the air inlet or outlet is not blocked. Also, make sure the filter is removed from its packaging and is correctly placed. Close doors and windows while using the air purifier. Note that if the room is larger than 92 m², air purification will take longer, and the air purifier may not be as effective in significantly larger rooms. Finally, replace the filter.

      If your Levoit Air Cleaner's air quality indicator always stays blue, even when the air quality is poor, it may be because the AirSight Plus Laser Dust Sensor detects airborne particles, but it cannot detect gas. Make sure there isn’t gas polluting the air.

      If you notice a strange smell coming from your Levoit Air Cleaner, clean the filter, or replace it if necessary. Also, make sure you are not using your air purifier in an area with high humidity or while diffusing essential oils. If problems persist, contact Customer Support.

      If you notice a significant reduction in airflow from your Levoit Air Cleaner, ensure the filter's packaging has been removed and that it's correctly installed. You can try increasing the fan speed. Ensure that there is 38 cm / 15 inches of clearance on all sides of the air purifier. Also, the pre-filter may be clogged by large particles, such as hair or lint, blocking airflow, so try cleaning the pre-filter. If none of these steps help, consider replacing the filter.
