How to fix Lexington Forge CSDV30SLP Stove spark ignitor that won't light?
    • M
      michael44Aug 6, 2025
If the spark ignitor on your Lexington Forge Stove fails to light the pilot after repeated attempts, there are several potential causes. First, the battery may need replacing, so try installing a new battery. Second, the ignitor itself may be defective. Check the connections to the ignitor and if the connections are good but there is still no spark, replace the ignitor. Finally, the spark electrode may be misaligned. Check for spark arcing from the electrode to the pilot. Adjust the electrode by loosening the screws on the pilot base, repositioning it, and then retightening the screws.

What to do if Lexington Forge Stove burner won't light?
    • L
      Lisa ConnerAug 12, 2025
If the burner on your Lexington Forge Stove does not light when both the valve and burner switch are on, it could be due to a few reasons. The switch may be defective, so check its connections and try jumping the wires at the switch. Alternatively, the thermopile might be defective, in which case you should check the connections to the valve. Also, make sure that the thermostat isn't set too low or is defective. Turn up the thermostat to start the unit and check the thermostat connections.

    • M
      Marie BrownAug 16, 2025
If the pilot light on your Lexington Forge Stove won't stay lit, it could be due to a few reasons. First, check the connection of the thermocouple to the rear of the valve, as a loose or defective thermocouple could be the cause. Another possible cause is air in the gas line, in which case you will need to bleed the line. Finally, make sure that there is gas in the gas line by checking the shutoff valve and gas supply (LPG tank).
