LEARN AND USE SYSTEM BASICS
The built-in voice command system uses a menu-
based structure.
To use the system, push the
switch on the
steering wheel.
TRAIN VOICE RECOGNITION
(OPTIONAL)
The system will oer Voice Training, or you can
select “MENU,” “Setup,” “Voice,” or “Train Voice
Command” to help train the voice command
system to adapt to your voice. Read back ten voice
recognition phrases to help tune the system to
recognize your voice. After training the system,
follow the example commands shown on the screen.
Learn, Calibrate and Use Voice Command
Speak normally and without pauses after the beep
ends and while the wave icon on the screen is
moving. This is when the system is listening.
To shorten the time for the beep, turn o the voice
recognition prompts:
Select “MENU,” “Setup,” “Voice,” “Voice
Recognition Prompts,” set to “O.”
Say commands like the examples on pages 16 to 17.
