Why doesn't my LG TV remote work?

There are several reasons why the remote for your LG TV might not be working: * Ensure the remote is in 'TV' mode by pressing the MODE key. * Make sure you're pointing the remote directly at the IR receiver on the TV. * The remote might be too far from the TV, or something might be blocking the signal. Try moving closer, dimming the lights, and removing any obstacles. * If applicable, ensure the MPI cable is connected to the MPI device. * The batteries might be weak or inserted incorrectly. Try replacing them, ensuring the '+' and '-' are correctly aligned. * The room might be too bright. Try dimming the lights. * You might be using the wrong installer remote. A compatible LG installer remote is required. Contact your LG representative.
