3.11 TAKE AND SHARE YOUR PICTURES
Take a Picture
1. Press the HOME key.
2. Slide your nger to the left over the screen and tap the Media icon.
3. Tap the Camera icon.
4. To take a picture, tap the Camera icon at the bottom of the screen. If
you don’t see the Camera icon, tap the three dots located at the upper
part of the screen. A thumbnail image of the picture will be displayed at
the bottom right corner of the screen.
Note: If the camera icon does not appear on the screen, you can take a
picture by tapping anywhere on the screen.
Front-facing camera
1. Press the Home key.
2. Slide your nger to the left over the screen and tap the Media icon.
3. Tap the Camera icon.
4. Tap the front-facing camera icon located at the top of the screen.
If you don’t see the front-facing camera icon, tap the three dots located
at the upper corner of the screen .
5. To take a picture, tap the camera icon at the bottom of the screen.
Gesture shot: The Gesture shot feature allows you to take a picture with
a hand gesture using the front camera. There are two methods for using
this feature:
• Raise your hand, with an open palm, until the front camera detects it
and a box appears on the screen. Then close your hand into a st to
start the timer, allowing you time to get ready.
• Raise your hand, in a clenched st, until the front camera detects it and
a box appears on the screen. Then unclench your st to start the timer,
allowing you time to get ready.
Share the picture
1. Tap the picture thumbnail located on the lower right corner of the
screen. Your phone will display the last image captured.
2. The Share icon will appear at the upper of the screen. If not, simply tap
the screen. Tap the Share icon. All available sharing options will appear
on the screen.
3. Tap the Messaging icon.
4. Enter the contact name or the mobile number of the desired recipient
in the To eld. If entering an existing contact’s name, tap the name
when it appears .
5. To send a text message with the picture, tap any area below the picture
and enter your message.
6. When nished, tap Send.
7. To return to the main screen, press the HOME key.
