If your LG Blu-ray Player cannot read or write discs, ensure the system's CPU, hard drive, and other components are functioning correctly. Check the CD, DVD, or BD disc for dirt or scratches. Avoid running screen savers or other applications while writing to the disc. Confirm that there's sufficient free space on the disc. See if writing fails even during a simulation test. Make sure the disc is loaded correctly with the label facing up and that the drive is correctly oriented. If the drive or disc was moved from a cold to a warm environment, condensation might have formed on the lens or disc surface.
