Splitting the keyboard
You can split the keyboard in half and place each piece on either side
of the screen when the screen is in landscape mode.
To split the keyboard, turn the device horizontally and spread two
fingers apart on the keyboard. To join the keyboard, pinch in on the
keyboard.
One-handed operation mode
You can move the keyboard to one side of the screen so that you can
use the keyboard with one hand.

Tap Settings General Language & input On-screen

You can also tap
on the keyboard, then tap Keyboard height
and layout

Press the arrow displayed next to the keyboard to move the
keyboard in the desired direction.
