The SGR quad-band receiver for GSM 850, 900, 1800 and 1900 is based on the direct conversion
architecture(DCR). A fully differential receive path is chosen to suppress on-chip interferences. An
overview of the SGR receiver chain is given in Figure 34. The analog part of the receiver contains four
LNAs, low / high-band quadrature mixer, low-pass filter and a high resolution continuous-time
delta-sigma analog-to-digital converter.
