- Filter Cleaning Schedule: Varies based on loads per week and pre-treatment (scraping or rinsing). For example, if only scraping dishes, clean 4 times a year for 1-3 loads/week, or every 1.5 months for 8-12 loads/week. If not scraping or rinsing, clean once a month for 1-3 loads/week, or every week for 8-12 loads/week.
- Cleaning the Spray Arms: Clean every two weeks to prevent food residue from blocking water jet holes. Remove debris with a pin or stiff wire. For the upper spray arm, remove by turning the nut 1/8 turn counter-clockwise.
- Cleaning the Heat Dry Blower: Periodically remove food residue from the gap below the cover (every 4 months). Wait for the blower to cool, wear gloves, and avoid water or detergents inside the tube.
- Seasonal Maintenance and Storage:
- Warmer Months (extended absence): Close water valve, disconnect power, clean filter, tub, and dispenser to prevent odor.
- Colder Months (freezing temperatures possible): Winterize water supply lines and dishwasher by qualified service personnel.
- Rinse Aid Refill: The Rinse Aid Refill LED indicates when more rinse aid is needed. The frequency of refilling depends on usage and the rinse aid setting.
