Maintenance Features

Safety Precautions:

  • General: Emphasizes reading the owner's manual, avoiding physical damage to the projector, and proper handling of cables and power plugs.
  • Indoor Installation: Avoid direct sunlight, humid places, hot objects, oil mist, and areas where the projector could be exposed to water or dust. Ensure proper ventilation (at least 30 cm away from walls). Do not install in a bookcase or closet.
  • Power: Securely plug in the power cord, avoid overloading multi-power outlets, do not insert metal objects into the power plug, and use grounded outlets. Disconnect power when not in use for long periods.
  • When in Use: Unplug during thunder/lightning, vent gas leaks, use long connection cables for external devices, avoid impacts, do not insert foreign objects, and keep batteries out of reach of children.
  • Battery Handling: Do not mix old and new batteries, ensure correct polarity, avoid direct sunlight/heat, do not throw or disassemble batteries, and dispose of old batteries properly.
  • Laser Safety: Do not manipulate or alter the product in ways not specified in the manual. Do not let infants or people with diseases directly watch the light source.

Cleaning:

  • Do not spray water directly onto the projector.
  • How to clean the projector: Disconnect power, wipe with a soft cloth. Do not use detergents, automotive or industrial polishes, abrasives, waxes, benzenes, or alcohols.
  • How to clean the lens: Clean with an air sprayer or soft, dry cloth. For stubborn dust/stains, use a compressed air duster, cotton swab, or soft cloth. Do not use detergents, automotive or industrial polishes, abrasives, waxes, benzenes, or alcohols on the lens.
  • Consult a dealer or service center for interior cleaning once a year. Dust accumulation inside can cause fire or malfunction.

Troubleshooting:

  • Provides a table of symptoms and causes/solutions for common issues like the projector not turning on, remote control not working, sudden power off, dots on the screen, and noise. For example, if the projector doesn't turn on, check the power plug connection and outlet. If the remote doesn't work, check for obstacles, battery polarity, and replace old batteries. If dots appear on the screen, it's usually a normal occurrence due to manufacturing precision. If noise is heard, it could be electrical noise (normal) or fan sound adjusting to temperature.
