Why is my LG S09EQ not blowing cold air?

If your LG Air Conditioner isn't emitting cool air, first, ensure that curtains, blinds, or furniture aren't blocking the front of the unit. Clean the air filter every 2 weeks. In summer, use Jet Mode for faster cooling. Check for air leaks and ensure the set temperature is lower than the current room temperature. Avoid using heat sources nearby and ensure that the unit is not in Fan Mode, but in cooling operation. Note that on very hot days, the cooling effect might be reduced.

If your LG Air Conditioner stops during operation, the Timer Function may have timed out. Check the timer settings. If a power failure occurred, wait for the power to return. If the Auto Restart function is enabled, the unit will resume operation a few minutes after power is restored.

If your LG Air Conditioner isn't working, ensure it's plugged in and the power isolators are switched on. Check for a blown fuse or tripped circuit breaker and replace or reset as needed. If there was a power failure, wait 3 minutes after power is restored before turning the unit back on. Also, verify that the batteries in the remote controller are correctly inserted or replace them. Finally, make sure the unit wasn't turned off automatically by a timer and turn it back on.

      Rick CaseAug 10, 2025
When the LG Air Conditioner is in Heating Mode, the vane is almost closed, and no air comes out, even though the outdoor unit is operating. This is normal. Wait until the unit has generated enough warm air to blow through the indoor unit. Also, if the outdoor unit is in Defrosting Mode, wait approximately 15 minutes for it to finish. Note that the heating effect may not be sufficient when the outside temperature is too low.

      Christopher BraunAug 14, 2025
The Auto Clean function may be running on your LG Air Conditioner. This function removes any remaining moisture inside the indoor unit. Allow the Auto Clean function to continue, or turn the unit off if you do not want this feature.

    • J
      Jennifer OconnorAug 18, 2025
If mist is discharging from the air outlet on your LG Air Conditioner's indoor unit, it is because the cooled air from the air conditioner makes mist. This phenomenon will disappear when the room temperature decreases.

Why does my LG S09EQ Air Conditioner smell?
    • S
      Sandra KennedyAug 22, 2025
If the indoor unit of your LG Air Conditioner gives off an odor, it may be due to odors (such as cigarette smoke) absorbed into the unit and discharged with airflow. Try washing the filter. If the smell persists, contact the service center to clean your heat exchanger.
