Why won't my LG WT5070CW turn on?
    • M
      Mark WardAug 21, 2025
Your LG washer might not be turning on due to several reasons: the power cord may not be properly plugged in (ensure it's securely plugged into a grounded outlet), a house fuse might be blown or the circuit breaker tripped (reset the breaker or replace the fuse, avoiding increasing the fuse capacity), or there may be a power outage. If it's a circuit overload, a qualified electrician should correct it.

    • S

Why is my LG WT5070CW Washer not filling with enough water?
    • D
      Devin DavisAug 27, 2025
Your LG washer may not be filling properly because the filters are clogged, or the fill hoses may be kinked. Ensure that the filters are free of solids by turning off the water and checking the filter after disconnecting the hose at the machine. Also, check that the fill hoses are not kinked or clogged. This washer is energy-efficient, so water may not cover the top level of the clothes, which is normal. Make sure that the water supply is turned on and the faucets are completely open. The washer lid must be closed for all washer cycle operations. Make sure that the fill hoses connect the hot water supply to the hot inlet on the washer, and the cold water supply to the cold inlet on the washer (hot to hot, cold to cold).

Why is my LG WT5070CW not draining water?
    • S
      smithrebekahAug 26, 2025
If your LG washer isn't draining water, check that the drain hose isn't kinked. Also, ensure that the drain outlet isn't higher than 8 feet above the floor, as per the recommended installation instructions.

How to fix LG Washer that fills with water slowly?
    • P
      Paul BarrettAug 25, 2025
If your LG washer is filling with water slowly or not at all, make sure the water supply taps are fully open and that the water line hoses are not kinked, pinched, or bent. Also, the water inlet filters may be clogged, so clean them. Finally, check another faucet in the house to ensure that household water pressure is adequate.

What to do if water is leaking around my LG WT5070CW?
    • K
      Kara ManningAug 23, 2025
If you notice water leaking around your LG washer, check the fill hoses for loose connections at the tap or washer and tighten them. Also, inspect the house drain pipes for clogs and unclog them if necessary, or contact a plumber. If you are washing large items, use the BULKY/BEDDING cycle and ensure bulky items are properly laid into the tub.
